Bringing Music to Shipston-on-Stour Since 1998
Shipston Proms is a two-week music festival that fills Shipston-on-Stour and surrounding villages with live music every June. From small acoustic gigs to full-band performances, we showcase local talent and bring a diverse range of music to our community.
Get InvolvedOur goal is simple: Music for all. We’re passionate about:
Back in 1998, a group of like-minded music lovers decided their town needed more live music. What started as a small local event has now grown into a 50+ event festival, attracting music fans from all over. Thanks to our dedicated committee, sponsors, and community support, Shipston Proms continues to thrive, creating unforgettable live music experiences year after year.
Shipston Proms is run entirely by a volunteer committee that works hard to bring this incredible festival to life. The current committee consists of Chair Charlotte Haines, Secretary Michelle Kelly, Treasurer Haydn Ward, Press Secretaries Susan Perry & Chris Roberts, Friends Secretary Jill Davies and committee members Tim & Helen Porter, Anne Sayers, Richard Martin, John Fedorowycz, David Squires, George Kelly, Alan Hurcombe, David Farrell and Jane Morgan.
Whether you're a musician, venue, sponsor, or music lover, there are plenty of ways to support Shipston Proms. Follow us, attend events, or get in touch to be part of the magic!
