The 2026 Shipston Proms Music Festival IS HAPPENING!

We are delighted to announce that due to a new committee being formed, and a new Chair in position, we are able to continue with the Proms musical fortnight in 2026. We are aiming for all your favourite events to be back, culminating in the famous LAST NIGHT OF THE PROMS event in the town square. Great Finale to Second Week of Shipston Proms Music Festival 2025

The 27th Shipston Proms Music Festival finished with a bang with the final night Street Party on Saturday 28th June, headlined by the irrepressible Rick Parfitt Junior and his RPJ Band, supported by Birmingham’s The Reggulites, Thom Kirkpatrick and the Shipston Introducing winners Mimi Roberts & Jamie Webber and Jay Mac.

We had five very talented performers enter our Shipston Introducing event at the beginning of June. Charlie, an A-level student from Chipping Campden, has a wide vocal range which saw him sing Radiohead’s ‘Creep’ and also master the soaring cadences of ‘Grace Kelly’ by Mika. Shipston Proms Music Festival 2025 Taking Shape

The 2025 edition of the Shipston Proms music Festival will take place in Shipston-on-Stour and surrounding villages between Friday 13th June to Saturday 28th June 2025. There will be over 40 events of all musical types to meet the festival taglines ‘Music for All’ and ‘from Classical to Heavy Rock’.

Opera Night at Shipston Proms Music Festival Fundraiser

The Shipston Proms Music Festival was proud to put on ‘A Night at the Opera’ at St Edmunds Church, Shipston-on-Stour. It featured Shipston’s own Opera singers, Soprano Anna Patalong and Baritone Benedict Nelson who sang a range of songs both operatic as well as seasonal Christmas based songs. Vibrant Street Party Caps Great Final Week of Shipston Proms 2024

Shipston Proms Launch Night 2024 Features The Dropouts and Thom Kirkpatrick

The launch night for the 2024 Shipston Proms takes place at The Townsend Hall in Shipston-on-Stour on Friday 21st June 2024 with headliners The Dropouts supported by Thom Kirkpatrick. Tickets are available from the Shipston Proms Eventbrite webpage and are priced at £15 + Eventbrite fee.

IBIZA-on-Stour with Headline DJ Dave Pearce for Shipston Proms 2024

The Shipston Proms committee is very excited to announce that the IBIZA-on-Stour DJ event returns for 2024, but for this year the headline DJ is none other than the legendary Radio 1 DJ Dave Pearce. The ticketed event takes place on 28th June 2024 at the Shipston Enterprise Centre, starting at 7:30pm. Tickets are on sale from the Shipston Proms Eventbrite page from Friday 1st March.
