Folk Night at The Black Horse
Join us for a wonderful evening of live folk music at The Black Horse, Shipston-on-Stour.
This free community event brings together an exciting line-up of talented local and visiting performers for a night filled with traditional songs, lively tunes and great atmosphere.
Leading the evening will be Keith Finlay and his ever-changing collective of musicians and Brimstone, whose engaging performances have made them firm favourites with folk audiences across the region. They will be joined by a selection of special guest performers throughout the evening.
Also taking to the stage will be the ever-popular Shipston Shanty Group, bringing their rousing sea shanties and community spirit to the event. During the evening they will be collecting donations in support of Shipston Community First Responders, helping to raise funds for this invaluable local service.
Completing the line-up is local guitarist and singer Nick Nickerson, who will perform a selection of much-loved Irish and Scottish songs, providing the perfect soundtrack to a summer evening in the heart of Shipston.
Alongside the music, guests can enjoy a wide range of traditional ales, ciders, lagers and wines from the bar, while the popular Thai Kitchen will be serving delicious food throughout the evening.
